APHC spokesman strongly denounced the fresh wave of arrests of family members of United Jehad Council (UJC) chief Srinagar, Oct 29: APHC while strongly condemning the continuous arrest of amalgam chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and the fresh wave of atrocities on the people of Kashmir said that the way through military might is used to crush the genuine struggle of people in the valley, stands an eye-opener for the nations believing in democracy and the world rights bodies. The APHC spokesman strongly denounced the fresh wave of arrests of family members of United Jehad Council (UJC) chief Syed Salahudin by NIA, sending summons to rest of the family members and calling them to New Delhi for questioning as political vendetta. The APHC said harassing the family members by the NIA in the name of questions deserves all forms of condemnations, adding, the grandson of UJC chief is a student and summoning him to New Delhi will cast a shadow on his educational career. Meanwhile, addressing the delegations from Pulwama, Kakapora, Sambooara and other areas, senior APHC leader Mukhtar Ahmed Waza expressed solidarity with the families whose dear ones have been arrested by the forces and stated that by using military might, genuine and sacred movements can’t be muzzled. Waza stated that Kashmiris are fighting for right to self-determination and priceless sacrifices have been given by the people of Kashmir. Waza also expressed sympathy and solidarity with the family members of martyrs and stated that it was because of sacrifices Kashmir issue is echoing at various world forms and its resolution is considered inevitable for the everlasting peace in south Asia.
